AN ACT CONCERNING AUTOMATED SALES SOLICITATION CALLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit a caller from using 1
different telephone numbers to call the same person for an automated 2
sales solicitation call and to increase penalties for violations of section 3
42-288a of the general statutes. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To protect consumers from abusive automated sales solicitation call
practices.
