| 24 | 24 | amended to provide that "neglected" does not include permitting a 2 | |
| 25 | 25 | child, who is of sufficient maturity, physical condition and mental 3 | |
| 26 | 26 | ability to avoid substantial risk of physical harm, to engage in 4 | |
| 27 | 27 | independent activities that include, but are not limited to: (1) Traveling 5 | |
| 28 | 28 | to and from school by walking, running or biking, (2) traveling to and 6 | |
| 29 | 29 | from nearby commercial or recreational facilities, and (3) engaging in 7 | |
