AN ACT CONCERNING ACCESS TO TREATMENT FOR OPIOID USE 
DISORDER IN CORRECTIONAL FACILITIES. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the general statutes be amended to require the establishment of 1 
a medication-assisted treatment program in correctional facilities for 2 
inmates with opioid use disorder. 3 
Statement of Purpose:   
To establish a medication-assisted treatment program in correctional 
facilities for inmates with substance use disorder.
