AN ACT CONCERNING A FAMILY AND MEDICAL LEAVE SAVINGS
ACCOUNT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That titles 3 and 31 of the general statutes be amended to establish a 1
voluntary savings account administered by a private entity that will 2
allow employees to save pretax dollars to be used for events that 3
qualify for Family and Medical Leave Act protections pursuant to 4
sections 31-51kk to 31-51rr, inclusive, of the general statutes. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure families have coverage for qualifying family and medical
leave events.
