AN ACT CONCERNING UNREGISTERED MOTOR VEHICLES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit municipalities to 1
adopt ordinances for the purpose of (1) levying a fine upon the owners 2
of motor vehicles that are not registered in this state but are subject to 3
property tax in this state, and (2) imposing a lien against such owners' 4
real property. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To permit municipalities to levy fines and impose liens against the
owners of motor vehicles not registered in this state that are subject to
property tax in this state.
