AN ACT CONCERNING PENALTIES FOR THE SALE OR PROVISION
OF ELECTRONIC NICOTINE DELIVERY SYSTEMS AND VAPOR
PRODUCTS TO MINORS AND FOR THE USE OR POSSESSION OF
SUCH PRODUCTS BY MINORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to align the penalties for the 1
sale or provision of electronic nicotine delivery systems and vapor 2
products to a minor and the use or possession of such products by a 3
minor with the penalties for the sale or provision of alcohol to a person 4
under the age of twenty-one or the consumption or possession of 5
alcohol by a person under the age of twenty-one. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To align the penalties for the sale or provision of electronic nicotine
delivery systems and vapor products to a minor and the use or
possession of such products by a minor with the penalties for the sale
or provision of alcohol to a person under the age of twenty-one or the
consumption or possession of alcohol by a person under the age of
twenty-one.
