AN ACT REQUIRING THE STUDY OF SOLAR ENERGY. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That title 16 of the general statutes be amended to require the Public 1 
Utilities Regulatory Authority to study the tangible and intangible 2 
benefits of solar energy and compare the costs and benefits of solar 3 
energy with the costs and benefits of fossil fuel energy sources.  4 
Statement of Purpose:   
To require the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority to study the 
tangible and intangible benefits of solar energy.
