AN ACT CONCERNING STUDENT LOAN INTEREST RATES AND
CONSOLIDATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 10a of the general statutes be amended to permit public 1
institutions of higher education to work with banks and lending 2
institutions to lower interest rates and allow for the consolidation of 3
student loans. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To allow for lower interest rates and consolidation of student loans.
