AN ACT EXTENDING THE PERIOD OF TIME FOR REQUIRING
CERTAIN MUNICIPALITIES TO WAIVE PAYMENT IN LIEU OF TAX
PAYMENTS FROM A HOUSING AUTHORITY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 8-71 of the general statutes be amended to extend the 1
period of time under which a municipality that received a grant-in-aid 2
pursuant section 8-16 of the general statutes in the fiscal year ending 3
June 30, 2015, is required to waive payment in lieu of tax payments 4
from a housing authority. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To extend the period of time under which a municipality that received
certain state funding in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2015, is required
to waive PILOT payments from a housing authority.
