AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPAL HOUSING VOUCHERS TO
PREVENT HOMELESSNESS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 128 of the general statutes be amended to reinstitute 1
housing vouchers to be issued by municipalities to prevent family 2
homelessness and reduce costs to the Medicaid program by health 3
conditions linked to homelessness. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To reinstitute a municipal housing voucher program to prevent family
homelessness and resulting health care costs.
