HENNESSY, 127th Dist. AN ACT PROHIBITING THE ADMINISTRATION OF CERTAIN VACCINES AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF CERTAIN IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to (1) prohibit any health care 1 provider from administering any vaccine containing more than a trace 2 amount of thimerosal to any child under three years of age or pregnant 3 woman, and (2) prohibit the establishment of any immunization 4 requirements for a child care or school setting for diseases that are 5 noncommunicable, including, but not limited to, hepatitis B. 6 Statement of Purpose: To protect children and pregnant women from harmful ingredients contained in vaccines and to prohibit requirements related to the administration of certain vaccines.
