AN ACT REQUIRING QUARTERLY REPORTS ON THE STATE -WIDE
HEALTH INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PLAN AND THE STATE -WIDE
HEALTH INFORMATION EXCHANGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subsection (f) of section 17b-59a of the general statutes be 1
amended to require the executive director of the Office of Health 2
Strategy to submit reports every quarter on the implementation of the 3
state-wide health information technology plan and the State-wide 4
Health Information Exchange to the joint standing committee of the 5
General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to public 6
health. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To require more frequent reporting on the implementation of the state-
wide health information technology plan and the State-wide Health
Information Exchange.
