AN ACT CONCERNING USE OF FORCE REPORTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Division of State 1
Police within the Department of Emergency Services and Public 2
Protection and each municipal police department to report annually on 3
the use of force by their officers. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require annual public reports on the use of force by State Police and
municipal police officers.
