AN ACT CONCERNING A PLAN TO MODERNIZE THE STAMFORD
TRANSPORTATION CENTER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the Commissioner of Transportation be required to plan a 1
modernization of the Stamford Transportation Center. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Commissioner of Transportation to plan a
modernization of the Stamford Transportation Center to ensure that
the busiest Connecticut train station on the New Haven line of the
Metro-North Commuter Railroad serves travelers and promotes
economic development throughout Fairfield County and the state.
