AN ACT NAMING A PORTION OF ROUTE 169 IN BROOKLYN IN
HONOR OF MAJOR GENERAL ISRAEL PUTNAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That a portion of Route 169 in the town of Brooklyn, from Route 205 1
to Route 97, be named the "Major General Israel Putnam Highway". 2
Statement of Purpose:
To recognize the national significance and contributions of Major
General Israel Putnam in the local corridor where he resided.
