AN ACT CONCERNING THE INCLUSION OF BLOOD TYPE ON
MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR'S LICENSES AND IDENTIFICATION
CARDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner 1
of Motor Vehicles to provide an option to applicants for a motor 2
vehicle operator's license or identification card to include the 3
applicant's blood type on the license or card. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To provide an option for an applicant to include blood type on a motor
vehicle operator's license or identification card and to assist first
responders in the case of an emergency.
