AN ACT AUTHORIZING MUNICIPALITIES TO REMOVE ROAD SIGNS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to authorize municipalities to 1
remove road signs installed by the Department of Transportation 2
under the Highway Safety Improvement Program's Horizontal Curve 3
project. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To provide municipalities with greater flexibility in removing road
signs that the municipalities determine are duplicative or unnecessary.
