AN ACT EXPANDING THE CONNECTICUT HYDROGEN AND
ELECTRIC AUTOMOBILE PURCHASE REBATE PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of 1
Energy and Environmental Protection, in conjunction with the 2
Department of Transportation, to continue to offer and expand the 3
Connecticut Hydrogen and Electric Automobile Purchase Rebate 4
program regarding incentives for the purchase or lease of a new 5
eligible battery electric, plug-in hybrid electric or fuel cell electric 6
vehicle. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To promote the use of electric vehicles in the state by expanding the
Connecticut Hydrogen and Electric Automobile Purchase Rebate
program.
