AN ACT CONCERNING THE PROCESS FOR THE ADDITION OF NEW
MEMBER TOWNS TO REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICTS OR THE
CREATION OF NEW REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That part III of chapter 164 of the general statutes be amended to 1
create a process to make it easier for regional school districts to add 2
new member towns or for the creation of new regional school districts. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To simplify the process by which regional school districts may expand
or to create new regional school districts.
