AN ACT CONCERNING THE CUMULATIVE EFFECTS OF AIR AND
WATER DISCHARGE PERMITS IN THE SAME ZIP CODE, CITY OR
TOWN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of 1
Energy and Environmental Protection to consider the cumulative 2
effects of air and waste discharge permits that are authorized in the 3
same zip code, city or town. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To have the cumulative effects of discharge permits in a zip code, city
or town considered by the Department of Energy and Environmental
Protection.
