AN ACT REQUIRING SIGNS AT VETERINARIAN FACILITIES 
CONCERNING THE PRESENCE OF OVERNIGHT SUPERVISION FOR 
ANIMALS. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the general statutes be amended to require veterinarian 1 
facilities to post signs indicating whether such facility has overnight 2 
supervision for the animals at such facility.  3 
Statement of Purpose:   
To avoid having animals accidentally hang themselves after 
veterinarian surgery because there is a lack of overnight supervision at 
such veterinarian facility.
