AN ACT PROHIBITING THE IMPORT, SALE AND POSSESSION OF
THE BIG SIX AFRICAN SPECIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the import, sale 1
and possession of African elephants, lions, leopards, black rhinoceros, 2
white rhinoceros and giraffes. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the import and trade of the big six African species.
