AN ACT CONCERNING POLLING PLACES FOR PRIMARIES. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That section 9-438 of the general statutes be amended to, for any 1 
municipality with fifteen thousand or fewer electors, permit the 2 
registrars of voters of such municipality to reduce the number of 3 
polling places to be used for the conduct of any primary held in such 4 
municipality. 5 
Statement of Purpose:   
To allow certain municipalities to reduce the number of polling places 
for primaries.
