AN ACT CONCERNING CONSULTANTS AND THE CITIZENS'
ELECTION PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapters 155 and 157 of the general statutes be amended to (1) 1
define "consultant", and (2) clarify the application of campaign finance 2
laws to (A) persons defined as such, and (B) payments made to such 3
persons by candidate committees of candidates participating in the 4
Citizens' Election Program. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To define "consultant" for purposes of campaign finance laws as well
as address payments to such persons made by candidates participating
in the Citizens' Election Program.
