AN ACT CONCERNING DISCLOSURE OF PRESIDENTIAL 
CANDIDATES' FEDERAL TAX RETURNS. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That chapter 146 of the general statutes be amended to provide that 1 
the presidential electors nominated to vote for candidates for President 2 
and Vice President of the United States shall not appear on the official 3 
ballot to be used at a presidential election unless such party's 4 
candidate for President publicly discloses his or her federal tax returns 5 
for the three prior years. 6 
Statement of Purpose:   
To withhold ballot access from Connecticut's presidential electors for 
any candidate for President of the United States who does not release 
the previous three years' worth of federal tax returns.
