AN ACT LIMITING PARTICIPATION IN THE CITIZENS' ELECTION
PROGRAM TO LEGISLATIVE CANDIDATES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 157 of the general statutes be amended to provide that 1
the candidate committees of candidates for the offices of Governor, 2
Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of the State, Treasurer, Comptroller 3
and Attorney General shall be ineligible to receive grants from the 4
Citizens' Election Fund. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To limit participating in the Citizens' Election Program to candidates
for state senator and state representative.
