AN ACT CONCERNING SECURITY OF CERTAIN ELECTION
MATERIALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 9-310 of the general statutes be amended to provide 1
that (1) the ballots processed by the voting tabulator at each polling 2
place shall be sealed and stored in the same manner as such tabulator, 3
and (2) procedural safeguards shall be established for the sealing, 4
unsealing and storage of such ballots. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To provide for secure storage and handling of ballots processed by
voting tabulators following an election.
