AN ACT CONCERNING THE CALCULATION OF AFFORDABLE
HOUSING UNITS AND THE MORATORIUM THRESHOLD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 8-30g of the general statutes be amended to include 1
affordable housing units built before July 1, 1990, for the purposes of 2
calculating the threshold number of affordable housing units required 3
for a municipality to qualify for an exemption from the affordable 4
housing land use appeals procedure. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To include affordable housing units built before July 1, 1990 for the
purposes of calculating the affordable housing moratorium threshold.
