AN ACT CONCERNING INTERPRETERS FOR PERSONS WHO ARE
DEAF, DEAF-BLIND AND HARD OF HEARING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 46a-33a of the general statutes be amended to update, 1
standardize and strengthen qualifications, training and educational 2
requirements for interpreters serving persons who are deaf, deaf-blind 3
and hard of hearing. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To update, standardize and strengthen qualifications, training and
educational requirements for interpreters serving persons who are
deaf, deaf-blind and hard of hearing.
