AN ACT ENHANCING THE SAFETY OF NURSING HOME RESIDENTS
WITH VIDEO CAMERAS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to require nursing 1
home facilities to install video cameras to help ensure a resident's 2
safety when requested and paid for by such resident or the resident's 3
authorized representative. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To provide for the safety and security of nursing home residents.
