AN ACT RESTRICTING THE USE OF PRIOR CLAIMS HISTORIES CONCERNING NALOXONE HYDROCHLORIDE. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to provide that no 1 insurer, health care center, fraternal benefit society, hospital service 2 corporation, medical service corporation or other entity delivering, 3 issuing for delivery, renewing, amending or continuing a health 4 insurance policy in this state shall incorporate in its rates for, or 5 determinations to grant coverage under, such policy previous claims 6 histories concerning naloxone hydrochloride. 7 Statement of Purpose: To prohibit certain insurers, health care centers, fraternal benefit societies, hospital service corporations, medical service corporations and other entities from incorporating in their rates for, or determinations to grant coverage under, certain insurance policies previous claims histories concerning naloxone hydrochloride.
