AN ACT PROHIBITING INSURERS FROM CONSIDERING NO FAULT ACCIDENTS IN SETTING MOTOR VEHICLE LIABILITY AND PHYSICAL DAMAGE INSURANCE PREMIUMS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 38a-686 of the general statutes be amended to provide 1 that a surcharge shall not be imposed on motor vehicle liability or 2 physical damage insurance premiums for any accident in relation to 3 which an insured was not at fault. 4 Statement of Purpose: To prohibit insurers from considering no fault accidents in setting motor vehicle liability and physical damage insurance premiums.
