AN ACT REQUIRING HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR PEER
SUPPORT SERVICES PROVIDED BY CERTIFIED PEER
COUNSELORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to require health 1
insurance coverage for peer support services provided by certified 2
peer counselors. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To require health insurance coverage for peer support services
provided by certified peer counselors.
