AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TASK FORCE TO STUDY WHETHER
THERE SHOULD BE A PRESUMPTION IN FAVOR OF EQUAL
PARENTING TIME IN CHILD CUSTODY MATTERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That a task force be established to study whether there should be a 1
presumption in favor of equal parenting time in child custody matters. 2
Such study shall include, but not be limited to, an examination as to 3
whether such a presumption would serve the best interests of the 4
state's children. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To study whether adoption of an equal parenting time law would
serve the best interests of the state's children.
