| 24 | 24 | That the general statutes be amended to provide that, for officers 1 | |
| 25 | 25 | and employees of the executive branch, the constituent units of higher 2 | |
| 26 | 26 | education, the Board of Regents for Higher Education, officers and 3 | |
| 27 | 27 | employees of the Judicial Department and employees of the legislative 4 | |
| 28 | 28 | branch who retire on or after July 1, 2027, regardless of their date of 5 | |
| 29 | 29 | hire, payments for overtime worked shall be excluded from the 6 | |
| 30 | 30 | determination of retirement income and that on and after July 1, 2027, 7 | |
| 31 | 31 | the inclusion of payments for overtime worked in the determination of 8 | |
| 32 | 32 | retirement income for which state employees who are members of the 9 | |
| 33 | 33 | state employees retirement system are eligible shall not be subject to 10 | |
