2323 FACILITY WHICH PROVIDES MEDICAL TRIAGE OR TO A HOSPITAL
2424 AFTER ADMINISTRATION OF AN OPIOID ANTAGONIST.
2525 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2626 Assembly convened:

2828 That the general statutes be amended to require emergency medical 1
2929 services providers to transport any individual to a treatment facility 2
3030 which provides medical triage in accordance with regulations adopted 3
3131 pursuant to section 19a-495 of the general statutes or to a hospital after 4
3232 the administration of an opioid antagonist on such individual. 5
3333 Statement of Purpose:
3434 To require that any individual who receives an opioid antagonist by an
3535 emergency medical services provider be transported to a treatment
3636 facility which provides medical triage or to a hospital.
