AN ACT CONCERNING THE UPGRADING OF AMBULANCE
SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the Department of 1
Public Health and the Office of Emergency Medical Services Providers 2
from requiring a letter of support when an emergency medical services 3
provider seeks to upgrade its ambulances to enable the provision of 4
advanced life support services. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit certain requirements in order for an emergency medical
services provider to upgrade its ambulances.
