AN ACT CONCERNING ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR
SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to eliminate the 1
requirement that a person have drugs in their system in order to be 2
admitted for treatment at a substance abuse treatment facility. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To ease access to substance abuse treatment by amending admittance
criteria for treatment centers.
