AN ACT CONCERNING THE PRIVATIZATION OF SERVICES
PROVIDED BY THE DEPARTMENTS OF DEVELOPMENTAL
SERVICES, MENTAL HEALTH AND ADDICTION SERVICES AND
SOCIAL SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 4 of the general statutes be amended to require the Office 1
of Policy and Management, in collaboration with the Commissioners of 2
Developmental Services, Mental Health and Addiction Services and 3
Social Services, to identify state services appropriate for privatization 4
and begin implementing a privatization plan not later than July 1, 5
2019. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce costs and enhance services provided by the Departments of
Developmental Services, Mental Health and Addiction Services and
Social Services.
