AN ACT ENSURING THAT NURSING HOMES ARE IN COMPLIANCE
WITH DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH REGULATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 368v of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Department of Public Health to establish protocols for the inspection of 2
chronic and convalescent nursing homes and rest homes with nursing 3
supervision to ensure compliance with the staffing requirements in 4
section 19-13-D8t of the regulations of Connecticut state agencies. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that chronic and convalescent nursing homes and rest
homes with nursing supervision are in compliance with Department of
Public Health regulations.
