AN ACT CONCERNING PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS IN A HOSPICE
SETTING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 20 of the general statutes be amended to permit a 1
physician assistant to serve as an attending physician for a patient in a 2
hospice setting. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To expand access to care by hospice patients by permitting physician
assistants to oversee their care.
