AN ACT CONCERNING A SIGN ON ROUTE 8 INDICATING THE
LOCATION OF TORRINGTON'S MEMORIAL TO THE VICTIMS OF THE
SEPTEMBER 11, 2001, TERRORIST ATTACKS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the Department of Transportation be required to place a sign 1
on Route 8 indicating the location of the memorial to the victims of the 2
September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks at the Torrington Fire 3
Department's North End Station and designating the memorial as a 4
historical attraction. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To place a sign on Route 8 indicating the location of Torrington's
memorial to the victims of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
