AN ACT CONCERNING TRANSPARENT MEDICAID COST
BUDGETING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 2 of the general statutes be amended to require that state 1
budget calculations reflect the full cost of Medicaid programs for 2
purposes of determining compliance with the state constitutional 3
spending cap. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To properly budget for Medicaid expenditures.
