AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AND
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT'S GRANT APPLICATION PROCESS
FOR SMALL AND MEDIUM -SIZED BUSINESSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 578 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Department of Economic and Community Development to post grant 2
applications for small and medium-sized businesses online, respond to 3
applicants not later than thirty days after receipt of an application, and 4
provide a final determination not later than one hundred twenty days 5
after receipt of an application. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Department of Economic and Community Development
to post grant applications for small and medium-sized businesses
online and to specify the timeframe within which the Department of
Economic and Community Development is required to respond to
applications.
