AN ACT REQUIRING A STUDY OF GRID MODERNIZATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require a study of grid 1
modernization in the state that includes a review of the 2
recommendations from the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority's 3
current grid modernization docket and makes recommendations 4
regarding upgrading wires, transformers, substations and other 5
metering technology designed to facilitate improved voltage 6
parameters and two-way electron flow. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To require a study of grid modernization in the state.
