AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE DESIGN
AND PLANNING OF A WALKING TRAIL ADJACENT TO THE
MARGERIE RESERVOIR IN NEW FAIRFIELD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
___ dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of 4
Energy and Environmental Protection for the purpose of providing a 5
grant-in-aid to the town of New Fairfield for the design and planning 6
of a walking trail between the eastern boundary fence of the Margerie 7
Reservoir and the Route 37 right-of-way between New Fairfield and 8
Danbury. 9
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for the design and planning of a walking trail
adjacent to the Margerie Reservoir in New Fairfield.
