AN ACT COMBINING THE PETROLEUM PRODUCTS GROSS
EARNINGS TAX AND THE MOTOR VEHICLE FUELS TAX.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 12 of the general statutes be amended to combine the 1
petroleum products gross earnings tax and the motor vehicle fuels tax 2
and impose one tax on a per-gallon basis. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To combine the petroleum products gross earnings tax and the motor
vehicle fuels tax and impose one tax on a per-gallon basis.
