AN ACT CONCERNING GUN VIOLENCE PREVENTION AND
CHILDREN'S SAFETY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that all firearms, 1
even those that are unloaded, be stored properly and to raise the age of 2
those considered minors from under the age of sixteen years to under 3
the age of eighteen years for safe firearms storage provisions. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To help prevent unintentional shootings, suicide and crime-related
gun violence.
