AN ACT CONCERNING THE AUTHORITY OF A PROBATE COURT JUDGE TO ORDER THAT A CONSERVED PERSON SURRENDER FIREARMS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That chapters 801a and 802h of the general statutes be amended to 1 permit a Probate Court judge to order removal of a firearm from 2 premises shared by a conserved person when the Probate Court judge 3 makes certain required findings. 4 Statement of Purpose: To authorize a Probate Court judge to make determinations regarding the removal of firearms from premises shared by a conserved person.
