AN ACT CONCERNING THE DUTIES OF CERTIFIED COURT
REPORTERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) allow a certified court 1
reporter access to an audio recording of a court proceeding for the 2
purpose of creating a transcript, and (2) prevent a certified court 3
monitor from transcribing a recording during work hours and then 4
personally profiting from charging for such a transcript. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To make improvements to court reporting.
